2016 Air Show in Smyrna is in the works now

The Breitling Jet Team, the world's largest professional civilian aerobatic display team performing in jets, will join the United States Navy Blue Angels in a rare North American tour stop on June 4 & 5 of 2016 at Smyrna/Rutherford County Airport for the 2016 Great Tennessee Air Show.

Based in France, the Breitling Jet Team is comprised of seven pilots flying L-39 C Albatros jets in a sophisticated demonstration of precision and speed, working in total synchronicity to wow audiences with rolls, loops and gravity-defying moves. The Great Tennessee Air Show is proud to be a part of the Breitling Jet Team's 2016 American Tour.

"Their decision to come to Smyrna is a testament to our goal of making The Great Tennessee Air Show a world class event for air show fans throughout the southeast."

The United States Navy Blue Angels demonstration squadron headlines the 2016 Great Tennessee Air Show which also includes performances by renowned aerobatic acts and features multiple static displays, concessions and activities for children. Named one of the "Top 10 Best Air Shows Around the World" by USA Today, the Great Tennessee Air Show gives the community an opportunity to experience aviation up close and personal.

The 2016 Great Tennessee Air Show is partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, working together to help solve hunger issues in the community.

Advance priced tickets to the 2016 Great Tennessee Air Show are available beginning today at http://www.greattennesseeairshow.com/. Advance general admission prices are $27.50 for adults and $15 for children. Advance box seats are $40 with Flight Line Club Advance tickets priced at $135 for adults and $75 for children (ages 4-12).
