The event will start at 5 p.m. at the Sheriff's Office at 940 New Salem Highway in Murfreesboro and WGNS' Bart Walker will serve as emcee of this solemn event. It is expected to last about 30 minutes.

Sheriff Robert Arnold said Honor Guards and Explorer Scouts will participate.

"We want to remember the victims, including citizens and responding emergency workers, who were killed Sept. 11, 2001," Sheriff Arnold said. "We also want to remember the military that responded and protected our country since then."
