Alleged Gang Member Arrested at Home Behind a Murfreesboro Day Care

A 25 year old Murfreesboro man is facing multiple charges after authorities paid him a visit with a search warrant in hand. The arrest of Quindale Preston unfolded at 1115 Havering Drive late last month. Murfreesboro Police Special Investigations Division arrived at the home to look for drugs and weapons due to ongoing trafficking concerns at the house.

Police report that Preston was an absconded fugitive with multiple warrants and was a member of the Rolling 60s Crip street gang.

MPD Seized a felony amount of marijuana and an assault rifle in the Havering Drive home off of Azure Way near the Cason Lane Childrens Center.

The subject was arrested on charges of maintaining a dwelling for the purposes of narcotic sales, manufacturing / delivering or selling a schedule six narcotic and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. He was also served outstanding warrants.

Preston is due to appear in court on October 18, 2018. As of October 10, 2018, Preston remains jailed.
