Give Yourself More Time, Or Prepare for the Consequences!

Today we never seem to allow enough time to get from point "A" to point "B".  As a result, we find ourselves running through red lights, pulling around turning vehicles and driving into bicycle lanes as well as following  too closely. You can get a traffic citation for the offenses, and yes--that creates stress too!

Verbatim:

For several generations, American' society has placed an emphasis on "make every minute count". That sounds good on the surface, but it also translates to "relaxing or down-time is bad". As a result we take work home, mix work with family time and shorten vacations to get back to work. Statistics show this also leads to stress, obesity, heart disease, strokes, and even some types of cancer.

So rather than end-up with a crumpled fender (see photo), or other stress producers--try becoming more efficient with your time. Actually plan for extra time to cover unexpected traffic delays or a phone call that comes as you're walking out the door.

Good luck, and let us know how it works.  Send your comments to news@WGNSradio.com
