Skateboarding on the Murfreesboro Square (Pictures)

Nov 23, 2013 at 03:36 pm by Bryan Barrett

For years, skateboarders of all ages have called the local Murfreesboro square home to just about every trick under the sun. From the traditional Olie to Fakie's, 360's and more, the square is evidently a fun place to ride.

Two of the main locations where you will find riders are the steps leading up to the Murfreesboro Civic Plaze and the area around North Spring (and South Spring) Street at East Main Street.

Saturday proved to be a good day for outdoor activities like biking and skateboarding. The weather was just right. We snapped these pictures in Murfreesboro directly off the local square. These guys were having a blast. They made their jumps look quite easy.
