Rutherford County Assessor of Property Named as Representative in Special Organization

Rob Mitchell has been appointed by the Tennessee Association of Assessing Officers to serve as Representative for the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO). Mitchell is the Assessor of Property for Rutherford County. WGNS was told in a press release that he will serve as a state representative until December 2015.

IAAO Representatives are the volunteer liaisons between the association’s board of directors and general membership.  They are chosen for their commitment to professionalism and to the association. As an IAAO Rep, Mr. Mitchell will answer questions about IAAO membership, supply information about IAAO products and services, and relay any needs or concerns of assessment professionals to the international headquarters.
