Several break-ins along with a car being stolen kept Murfreesboro Police busy early Wednesday morning (1/22/2014).

Chief Glenn Chrisman told WGNS News that the suspect fled the downtown area in a stolen car which was later spotted on Halls Hill Pike. As an officer approached the vehicle, the man fled on foot.

Shortly before 7:00 o'clock Wednesday morning, Murfreesboro Police set-up a perimeter in the Academy Street area, including Hembree Street and Jetton Drive. A scent dog was brought-in to track the suspect.

The suspect was last seen wearing jeans, a hoodie, white shoes and a ski mask. If you heard or saw anything suspicious, please contact the Murfreesboro Police at 615-893-1311.
