We have another case of counterfeit money being spent in the ‘Boro. This time, police responded to the Kangaroo Gas Station on South Church Street across from the Indian Hills Golf Course in Murfreesboro.

An employee at the gas station called police after noticing that unknown persons paid with two fake $100 bills on two different occasions. The transactions, according to a log at the market, took place within the past 6-days. The question now is, can police pinpoint the times when the bills were used and can a suspect be determined with the surveillance video cameras in the store?

The case is in the hands of Detective Sgt. Henderson of the MPD.
