8:10AM Dr. Richard Pace tells about the work of the MTSU Anthropology Department. He shares about a unique tribe from the Amazon rain forest in Brazil where primitive meets with modern technology. Natives in this area learned video technology in the early 1980s, and now produce documentaries that protect their land from contemporary invasion.

8:30AM MTSU History Professor Dr. Brenden Martin tells of his work to document verbal stories and pictures of Central over its 175-year history. That includes Central High, Central Middle and now Central Magnet School. It also includes the predecessor universities that were earlier on that campus.

8:50AM Pat Embry, the new director of MTSU's John Seigenthaler Chair of Excellence in First Amendment Studies, tells how technology has changed the face of media.
