Shortly before 1:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon (7/8/2015), police officers responded to a shooting on Dreville Drive in La Vergne.

La Vergne spokesperson Kathy Tyson told NewsRadio WGNS it appears as if the shooting was accidental. The young man was airlifted by Life Flight to Vanderbilt.
