Hot, Dry Continue to Dominate Weather

It's been a hot start to August and they're not a lot of relief in sight. On the heels of the fifth hottest July on record, the National Weather Service says expect more of the same through September. Long range models point to above-normal temperatures continuing for Middle Tennessee. Also, the climate data points to more dry weather as well. The last hot, dry summer was back in 2007, when August was particularly hot and dry.
