Middle Tennessee Medical Center's "Power of Pink" event that raises funds to support the mobile mammography coach will be at 7:00 o'clock Friday evening, September 23rd at the home of Mitzi and Dr. Rick Michaelson. While on the WGNS Action Line radio program, Mobile Mammagraphy Coordinator Lori Ward said, "We're wanting to reach as many people with this service as possible. Whether it be placing the unit at churches, businesses, schools--anywhere we can se 12 to 50 persons in one visit."

Pink Poower Chair Anne Davis and Co-Chair Patty Marschel shared stories of the local successes of the 40-foot vehicle. In addition, they indicated that the demand was so great in Hamilton County that they were working to purchase a second mobile mammography vehicle. Davis explained that this clinic is used by all of the counties in the Metro Nashville area.
