Murfreesboro Police were dispatched to a home on Minerva Driver in reference to a domestic situation and left with a drug related arrest.

Once on the scene, police noticed several different prescription pills on the living room coffee table. Police say that 53 year old John Johnson told them that he gives many of the pills away, but some people pay him for the painkillers.

A total of 56 pills were confiscated by police at the home. Some of the pills included Percocet and Oxycodone. The police report did not suggest the Percocet pills found were related to the recent drug overdose cases throughout Rutherford County.

Johnson was charged with the sale of a schedule two drug and "maintaining a dwelling" for drug sales. The local resident is currently free on bond and due in court on August 23, 2016.
