Nearly 15-hundred jobs are coming to the mid-state and Rutherford County will get a big piece of that pie. Amazon, an online retailer, will build a new distribution facility in Murfreesboro and one in Lebanon. Other states and Tennessee communities were in the running for what's named "Project Tango." The state annouced Thursday that the company will begin collecting sales tax from Tennessee customers in 2014, paving the way for tax breaks to bring the company to the state. The facility in Murfreesboro will be around a million square feet off of Joe B. Jackson Parkway and will employ about 12-hundred people. The facility in Lebanon, near Highway 840, will employ three-to-five hundred.
