A young man who had the nickname of "Gentle Giant" will be laid to rest on Thursday as his family celebrates his life.

Aaron Woods was only 14 years old when he died on April 25, 2017. Woods attended Oakland High School where he was a freshman this school year.

Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday and Thursday (May 3rd and 4th). The Wednesday visitation will be at Scales & Sons Funeral Home between 6 and 8 PM. On Thursday, visitation will be from 11 AM to 12 noon at Stones River Church followed by a Celebration of Life service.
