(MURFREESBORO) As of the first of this month, four Murfreesboro Police Officers have been promoted to the rank of sergeant. Congratulations to Sergeant Chris Phillips, Sergeant Cameron Adam, Sergeant Bryant Mitchell and Sergeant Robert Palmer.
Murfreesboro Police Chief Michael Bowen said, "As our leadership in this organization develops, I'm fully confident we're heading in the right direction and that we have the right people who can take this organization and move it to the next level."
Sergeant Adam began working with MPD in 2008 and has served as a member of the Special Operations Unit and as a Field Training Officer.
Sergeant Mitchell's career began with MPD in 2004. He has served as a member of the COPS unit and as a detective in the Criminal Investigations Division.
Sergeant Palmer began his career with MPD in 2008. He has served as a member of the Honor Guard and as a Field Training Officer.
