BUSINESS: Nissan Continues Producing the LEAF while making Changes

In March (2019), the Nissan LEAF became the first electric car in history to surpass 400,000 sales. The previous LEAF models and the current LEAF car are manufactured in Smyrna, TN and a few changes have been made to the all electric car.

Nissan North America reports that you can now go farther than ever on a single charge and feel a more powerful instant torque, better handling and a full suite of available Nissan Intelligent Mobility™technologies. You can also travel up to 226 miles on a charge with the LEAF.

The chargeable LEAF burns absolutely zero gas so it produces absolutely zero tailpipe emissions and no engine noise.

There are still some potential Federal, state, and city tax incentives just for driving fully electric.
