Murfreesboro, TENN. - A man called 9-1-1 Sunday, Oct. 6, claiming he was being followed. He fired shots while driving along the Interstate, striking a vehicle and damaging his own.
Mohamadu Bah, 21, told officers a vehicle started following him on S. Rutherford Blvd. and continued onto Interstate 24 around 5:46 a.m. He also claimed he was being shot at, so he fired back. Officers were flagged down at a gas station on John R. Rice Blvd. by passersby advising that a man, later identified as Bah, was shooting a firearm from his vehicle.
Officers discovered two bullet holes inside of Bah's vehicle and his driver's side window shattered. The handgun Bah was in possession of was reported stolen out of Texas.
One of the victims told officers his vehicle had been shot multiple times while he was driving in the area of S. Rutherford Blvd. and I-24 towards Old Fort Pkwy. The vehicle was struck several times by bullets; a tire was also flattened. The victim was not injured.
Bah was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and possession of stolen property. Additional charges are pending.
