(La Vergne, TN) Around 6:30 Thursday morning (12/19/2019), officers in La Vergne made a routine traffic stop and discovered a suspect wanted for homicide in Nashville.

La Vergne police pulled over Sengphacha "Ricky" Saysongkham of Antioch at on Murfreesboro Road for a traffic violation. They found Saysongkham was driving on a revoked driver's license. After running a warrants check, officers learned that he was wanted in Nashville for 1st degree murder. The sealed indictment was issued on December 16, 2019.

Saysongkham was arrested without incident and transported to the Davidson County Sheriff's Office for booking.
