Murfreesboro Police Officer Cormac Chandler went the extra mile to help a motorist who was driving on Northfield Boulevard when he saw to women stopped on the side of the road. He pulled in behind their car and turned on his blue lights to warn other drivers to slow-down and pulled around the stopped vehicle. They told Officer Chandler how their tire blew-out. He became their "knight in shining armor" when he changed their tire and had them safely on their way. Officer Cormac Chandler definitely went the extra mile, and the two motorists nominated him for the Demos' Outstanding Emergency Responder.
