Spring is nearing and the grass mowing and maintenance season is about to begin at Murfreesboro's Evergreen Cemetery. The Cemetery Commission asks families to remove floral arrangements and other articles around gravesites by Thursday, March 15th. This will allow crews to begin the seasonal mowing and weed eating process. 

The caretakers at the Evergreen Cemetery say that saddles and floral arrangements in permanent mounted vases will not be removed, unless they are fades and unsightly.
