MTSU police, working with the Murfreesboro Police Department, arrested a 22-year old Murfreesboro resident and charged him with three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.   Robert L. Hunt of 303 Fairfax Drive was arrested after telling police he took nude photos of a 4-year old girl whom he was babysitting. The toddler was the daughter of a university student who lives in the apartments. 

Hunt, who supposedly was in a relationship with the child’s mother, is not enrolled at MTSU. The child’s mother called MTSU police after discovering the photo on the suspect’s cellphone.

At this time, MTSU police believe there is only one victim and are not aware of any evidence of sexual assault. Additional charges filed by Murfreesboro police are in relation to possession and distribution of materials that occurred off campus.

Hunt was also issued a criminal trespass warning for all of campus.
