Police responded to an odd call on Monday night at the Subway restaurant on South Rutherford Boulevard. A 38-year old man was sleeping on the tables and reaching for food items that were behind the counter. The employees of the store say that the suspect was not allowing them to close the store for the evening.
When police responded to the address, the man told officers that he was dropped off at the restaurant and did not have a ride home. The man was charged with public intoxication and placed under a $250 bond. He will appear in court November 6.
