(SMYRNA, TN)  Have you been hearing what sounded like fighter jets overhead? The Smyrna-Rutherford County airport has been serving as a training site for T-38 Talons and C-130s.

The crews are normally stationed at Columbus Air Force Base in Lowndes County, Mississippi. That's near Columbus and Starkville Mississippi, as well as the Alabama state line. If you didn't realize it, that is the home of the 14th Flying Training Wing of the Air Education and Training Command.
