“If elected I will continue to focus on improving Public Safety, maintaining a strong educational system, promote efficiency in government through technology and seek to preserve green space for future generations. I grew up working on a family farm, the Stewarts Creek School Campus, and learned a strong work ethic which I have carried throughout my career. My parents both taught school and believed that education and determination could take you far in life. I believe every individual has a story to tell and I will listen to your story. I look forward to hearing your ideas. This is a must if government is to be of the people, by the people and for the people. I believe that I have the knowledge and experience to carry Rutherford County forward.”

"During my service on the Commission I have been a strong supporter of education and public safety. The last two years there has been no tax increase while completing a new radio system for public safety and building several new schools. I will continue my support for these while also looking at bringing technology to areas that are deficient." "One area of concern is the loss of experienced personnel in the Public Safety departments and I will work for improved pay."
