Kayla Fetzer, a registered nurse at Ascension St. Thomas Hospital, is our Heart for Healing recipient. A patient wrote that "Nurse Fetzer consistently went out of her way, above and beyond the call of duty".  She has been at the Murfreesboro hospital for eight years and is a two-time DAISY recipient. That is an award specifically for clinical staff--and are nominated by anyone who experiences or observes extraordinary compassionate care being provided by a nurse. Her administrators noted that Kayla is a high performer who genuinely cares about her patients. Registered Nurse Kayla Fetzer receives dinner for two at the fabulous Alley On Main Street Restaurant.
