Great Food

The fourth year proved to be the best ever. Great weather, tremendous food, outstanding auction items, and fun for all participants. Michael and Debra Zelenak, owners of the popular Maple Street Grill, created a gourmet meal that was enjoyed by all.

Entertainment and Auction

Each year, the Center for the Arts closes College Street from North Church to Maple Streets, directly in front of the theater. Then a giant tent covers the street and under that is Murfreesboro's most exciting party. In addition to the silent auction items, Larry Simms auctioned get away trips, gourmet parties prepared by Barb Ford, and even an elegant oil painting of the Center for the Arts. (Photo below, L-R)  Center for the Arts Executive Director Tony Cimino is the perfect host, while local auctioneer Larry Simms generates dollars for the theatre while making patrons happy.

Performers from Jesus Christ Superstar, which is running now through December 31st, mesmerized the crowd with several of the classics from this Andrew Lloyd Webber favorite. In addition, the 23-piece Music City Swing kept the tempo going, which allowed party-goers to enjoy ballroom dancing and swing.

Just A Great Time For Fellowship

Notice the double-yellow line down the center of the ballroom (photo below). This must be a "no passing zone" to reduce crashes between dancers and conversation groups.
