(RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN) In the noon hour on Thursday (6/29/2023) Rutherford County Fire-Rescue was dispatched to an animal rescue. 

Upon arrival, they found a horse stuck in a large hole who’s left hind quarter was pinned between a septic tank and ground wall.

After crews were able to free the horse, he allowed our Paramedic to assess his injuries. Several large lacerations were found on its inner left hind quarter and EMT’s used several gauze pads to control the superficial bleeding from this area.
