RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN - Average gasoline prices in Tennessee have fallen 1.9 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.07/g today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 3,821 stations in Tennessee. Prices in Tennessee are 6.8 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 102.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has risen 0.1 cents in the last week and stands at $3.80 per gallon.

In Rutherford County, the average price of regular unleaded is selling for $3.05 per gallon, which is on the low end when compared to other counties in the state. Neighboring Williamson County continues to have the highest average price in the state at $3.41 per gallon. The cheapest fuel can be found next door in Bedford County, where regular unleaded is averaging $2.96 per gallon, according to the Auto Club, AAA.

Diesel is currently priced at an average of $3.59 per gallon in Tennessee, which is a penny more when compared to last week. However, it is $1.71 per gallon cheaper when compared to prices last year at this time. When compared to gas prices, diesel is .23-cents cheaper than premium fuel right now and .50-cents more than regular unleaded.
