Man found unconscious in car at Church St. gas station

Apr 04, 2013 at 02:48 pm by Bryan Barrett

Murfreesboro Police responded to a medical assist call at the Tigermart Exxon Station on South Church Street Wednesday. On their arrival they found a 38-year old man who was unresponsive in his car. Friends of the subject told police he had recently filled prescriptions for several pain killers, but it was not known if he took the pills.

It is thought that the man may have ingested a Fentanyl Patch, which is also a pain killer. Of course, the patch is not made to ingest, but instead tape to your body. Witnesses claim the subject was alert just minutes before they called for help.

The man had to be transported to Middle Tennessee Medical Center. His condition was not released and the case is under investigation.
