How do we let local educators know that we appreciate them and give them freedom to do their jobs without political interference . . .

That was Rutherford County Schools Chief Academic Officer Dr. Kelly Chastain. Can you keep harmony while giving tests that monitor teacher results and benefit students as well . . .

Dr. Chastain said part of the proof of both County and City schools here are in STEM designated schools. She said that Christiana Middle School was recently awarded the STEM designation, and Smyrna Elementary already earned it previously . . .

Technology—that’s what advanced education as well as job preparation is all about these days. It’s Career Technical Education, and Rutherford County is strong with CTE, in fact . . .
