Murfreesboro Thieves Opt for an Enviromentally Friendly Car as Opposed to their last Pick of a Gas Guzzling SUV

For the second time in the past 8-months, a vehicle has been stolen from Toyota of Murfreesboro. Robert Rickman has more.

VERBATIM:  This time unknown thieves helped themselves to an environmentally friendly car. They took a Toyota Prius. During the last theft, they stole a gas guzzler. The Prius was valued at $17,000. It was a 2011 model.

This past September a $79,000 Toyota Land Cruiser was stolen from the South Church Street dealership. A surveillance video showed the suspect enter the vehicle and drive away after store hours. The VIN numbers on both the Land Cruiser and the Prius have been entered into the national crime data base, but so far, have not been located.
