A Wisconsin truck driver was treated at United Regional Medical Center after his big rig collided with another one on Interstate 24 in Coffee County Monday morning.

According to a report by Tennessee Highway Patrolman Donnie Clark, a truck operated by Allen Griffin of Columbus, GA pulled from the shoulder of the interstate as another 18-wheeler approached. The second truck swerved to get out of the way and Griffin’s truck was struck by a tractor-trailer operated by James Ryan of Wisconsin. The front end of Ryan’s truck suffered heavy damage.
