Gas and Diesel Prices in Rutherford County This Week

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN - Average gasoline prices in Tennessee have risen 2.1 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.23/g today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 3,821 stations in Tennessee. Prices in Tennessee are 11.2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 1.8 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.


In Rutherford County, the average price at the pump for regular unleaded is $3.26 per gallon, which is .12-cents higher than prices last Monday. Currently, prices in Rutherford County are tied with neighboring Cannon County and .2-cents cheaper than Wilson County, according to AAA – the Auto Club. South of Murfreesboro in Bedford County, the average price of gas is sitting at $3.22 per gallon. The highest average price for fuel in the state is once again only one county away in neighboring Williamson County. There, the price at the pump for regular unleaded is $3.61 per gallon. North of Brentwood and Franklin in nearby Nashville, the average price for a gallon of gas is $3.36 (regular).

Around this time last year, diesel was selling for an average price of $3.85 per gallon in Tennessee.
