A 28-year old woman reported that she was the victim of a sexual assault in Murfreesboro on Friday morning. The incident, that was reported in the area of January Street,  is under investigation at this time and the offense has been labeled as a “rape.” WGNS is not releasing any further details on this case to protect the identity of the victim. WGNS will let you know when an arrest has been made and more details will be released at that point.
