Murfreesboro, TN - Thanksgiving morning (11/28/2024) was a little chilly, but that didn't deter runners from the annual Borodash. This 4-mile run or walk through Murfreesboro's historic district was not only created to offer a well-organized family event but to glorify God.
23-year old Ransom Lester of Murfreesboro was the first to cross the 4-mile finish line. His net time was 20:48.
The top 10 finishers were all males. Here is the order in which they crossed the finish line: Ryan Phillips, Eddie Smith, Canaan Anderson, Tate Bowland, Henry Nance, Chase Kemper, Trevin Glasgow, Colton Conrad, and Micah Bobo. The youngest of the top 10 was age 9 and the oldest was 31.

The Borodash is great starting point for individuals who are just beginning to run. More importantly, it's a Thanksgiving morning of fellowship with others who share similar interests.
The Borodash attempts to cover its $5,000 expenses (runner medals, trophies, insurance, and other expenses). Thanks to 160 of the runners who raised $4,820.
