(Hear the Complete Radio Interview Below Story) Community volunteers are sought to join the Porfiri Family:  Dave, Linda Duvoisin, Jane, Harlan from Chattanooga, Tenn., as well as Scenic Tennessee President Marge Davis, for Pickin’ Up Tennessee – a cross-Tennessee environmental awareness campaign. The goal is to simply make and keep Tennessee beautiful.

The event geared towards Rutherford County residents is at Henry Horton State Park on Wednesday night, June 5th. MTSU student Maddie Denton and her family will pick banjo for those in attendance.

Prior to the concert, volunteers will pick up litter in Marshall County. Volunteers will meet at 10:30, Wednesday morning on Old Columbia Road in Lewisburg at Highway 50. Guests can park at the local recycling center in Marshall County. For more information, visit PickinUpTN.org.

10:30-11:30 am. Old Columbia Road, Lewisburg, 0.4 mi south of Hwy 50. Park at entrance to recycling convenience center (center will be closed).

Music Performance: Marshall County.

6-7 pm. Henry Horton State Park, campsite 3. Featuring Greg, Marcia and Maddie Denton—champion fiddle, banjo and treble guitar.
