Friday is officially known as “Flag Day.” There will be an 11AM Flag Day Ceremony at Cannonsburgh Village (312 S. Front St.). Participants are asked to meet at the flag pole in the small village as Claire Smith gives the history of the American flag with the award winning Murfreesboro Fire Department Honor Guard raising Old Glory at 11:15AM.

WWII Veteran and Prisoner of War (P.O.W.) Fayne Haynes will lead the "Pledge of Allegiance" at 11:20AM, after which he shares some thoughts on today's times and past stories.
