If you are going to steel beer, it is probably not a good idea to take your car on the beer run if your license plate is clearly visible.

A clerk at the Murphy Express gas station on Memorial Blvd. in Murfreesboro said that she witnessed a man walk into the beer cooler and leave with two cases of brewski's. The man failed to pay for the brew, but the clerk clearly saw the red Ford Escort that he pulled up in and later fled the scene in. In fact, the woman was even able to get the license plate number of older model Ford.

While the man has not been arrested, police likely know how to find him. As for the beer, he allegedly stole a little over $22 worth of Bud Light and Miller Light.
