The Blackman Barbecue was held this past Friday night. The event was a great success. A total of 575 meals were sold and not everyone in attendance ate. That being said, that number does not truly represent the attendance. We spoke to one person who told us the event was bigger and better than ever. 

This year's Blackman Barbecue was held at the Lane Agri-Park on John Rice Blvd. The barbecue was from Batey Farms in the Blackman Community.
