The Blackman boys defended their District 7AAA Tournament title with a 52-34 win over Oakland.

After being tied at 12-12, the Blaze went on a 12-to-2 run in the second to take a lead they wouldn't relinquish. Donovan Sims, the tournament MVP, led Blackman with 12 points. Oakland's Ray Tyler had 9.

Riverdale won the consolation game, defeating Stewarts Creek 53-49. The Warriors led by 13 at the half and saw the Red Hawks battle back. However, they hit free throws down the stretch to win the game. Riverdale's Coby Grubbs led his team with 18. Jonathan Pelleaux (PILLOW) and Tyler Conley both chipped in 13 each for Stewarts Creek.
