Rumors of no air conditioning at Blackman High School for a couple of days have been debunked. Rutherford County Schools spokesman James Evans says a fire alarm turned off the air handlers for the system this morning, despite the fact there was no fire. The air conditioning system was reset and was turned back on. It only caused problems for a short time and not two days. With outside temperature in the low 70's, the school was able to quickly return to a comfortable level.
