Culprits tried to fraudulantly use 14 credit cards before 2 went through

There have been several reports of two suspects using stolen credit cards at area Walgreens stores. In one case, the culprits tried using 14 Different credit cards with one cashier. The manager at the Mercury Boulevard store told police that the cashier who ran the cards was new to the job and she attempted to run 14 cards before 2 of them went through. The suspects, who were caught on video, were able to charge over $500 on the cards.  

In a second incident at the Walgreens on Northfield Boulevard, two suspects used 7 Visa cards to purchase over $1,200 worth of Visa gift cards. The subjects in the Northfield case were also caught on tape.

A third case of credit card fraud was later reported at the Walgreens on Memorial Boulevard. The same two suspects were again caught on tape. The two men were described as being of Middle Eastern descent. In the third case, the men bought over $2,000 in Visa gift cards.

All three incidents were reported on January 30. By the time police filed the third report; the two suspects were in custody at the Smyrna Police Department facing charges there.
