Day of Hope to Inspire Hope in Rutherford County Residents or Families Struggling with Drug Use

Murfreesboro, TN - A special community event on the Day of Hope will take place on Tuesday, March 10th from 6pm to 8pm at the Maple Room in the Murfreesboro Housing Authority office. Everyone in the community is invited to attend. Dinner will be provided by Rutherford County's Mental Health Action Committee.

Day of Hope is being held to inspire hope in those struggling with mental health and substance abuse challenges, their families, and their communities. At the Day of Hope event, strategies to give hope to the hopeless will be discussed with the goal of working towards the betterment of Rutherford County.

The Day of Hope event will include presentations from TrustPoint Hospital about the science of addiction and treatment options. Resources from Project Lifeline and the Certified Recovery Congregation program will be discussed as well. Dinner will be provided by Rutherford County's Mental Health Action Committee.
