David Bauman, M.D., a primary care physician specializing in family medicine, has joined Saint Thomas Medical Partners - New Salem. Saint Thomas Health is part of Ascension, the nation's largest Catholic and non-profit health system.
Dr. Bauman earned his B.S. at Penn State University and his Medical Doctorate at Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University. He completed one post-graduate residency in family medicine at The University of North Carolina at Moses H. Cone in Greensboro, NC. Dr. Bauman is a member of the American Academy of Physicians. He has received a number of honors during his more than three decades of medical practice, including being awarded U.S. News and World Report - American's Top Doctors for multiple years.
Dr. Bauman previously served patients as a family practices physician in New Jersey since 1980, and has also served as a school physician at several public school systems since 1989.
Saint Thomas Medical Partners - New Salem is a care center designed to meet patients' medical needs close to home. The New Salem care center offers on-site lab testing and imaging, outpatient rehabilitation, as well as ExpressCare same-day appointments. The care center is open extended hours, Monday-Friday from 7:00a-7:00p, and Saturday from 8:00a-5:00p.
