The City of La Vergne has received a HOME grant from the Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA) to rehabilitate owner-occupied homes. Interested homeowners who reside inside the city limits are invited to attend a public meeting to learn more about the program. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 11 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall located at 5093 Murfreesboro Road.

The goal of the program is to correct eligible substandard owner-occupied housing located in the city limits. Grant funding will be used to identify and correct deficiencies and return homes to a safe, sound, energy efficient, and sanitary condition. If your home is repaired, the City would assist you with a five-year forgivable loan.

Application packages for the program will be available at the public meeting and assistance provided to those who wish to participate. Program Policies and Procedures will be reviewed and residents will have the opportunity to ask questions about the HOME grant.
