Flu Season Picking Up

While the Mayo Clinic reports flu in Rutherford County as mild now, it's on the increase across the state. While we are approaching the height of flu season, Dr. Jason Greene from Reeves-Sain Drug Store tells NewsRadio WGNS there's still time immunized...

January and February are generally sees the highest flu reports here. Greene says it can take a week or two for the flu vaccine to begin working and despite some saying you can get the flu from being immunized...

Flu symptoms can include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, runny nose, tiredness, diarrhea and vomiting.
