Friday Morning Traffic Challenges On 'Boro Square

Murfreesboro Traffic Engineer Ram Balachandran warns motorists of road closures this Friday around the construction site of the Rutherford County Judicial Center. In addition, at that same time, the Murfreesboro Police along with Fire and Rescue are sponsoring a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at 9:00AM at the courthouse.

Expected Road Closures Near Judicial Project: Friday, September 9, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm: The contractor for the Rutherford County Judicial Center construction project will be closing N Church St between East Lytle Street and Burton Street to backfill the basement walls of the new Judicial Center. Northbound Church Street traffic from the Public Square will be detoured onto East Lytle Street. Access to and from Rutherford County Parking Lot on the east side of N Church St will be kept open at all times. Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place.

9/11 Commemoration at 9:00AM On Square

Adding to the mix will be the 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on the Northeast side of the public square at the Historic Rutherford County Courthouse. This event will be broadcast "live" over WGNS (AM 1450, FM 100.5, FM 101.9 and worldwide at www.WGNSradio.com).
