Heroin and crystal meth were located in an SUV stopped by Murfreesboro Police on Tuesday (8/23/16).

Jeremy Dale Harrell was pulled over on St. Clair Street for having windows that were too dark on his 2008 Lincoln Navigator. Once stopped, police noted that both 33 year old Harrell and his 27 year old passenger Casey Joe Peach appeared to be nervous.

After receiving permission to search the SUV, police found over a half gram of meth along with .4 grams of heroin. Both Harrell and Peach both denied ownership of the drugs that were found in the vehicle, therefore they were both charged with possessing it.

When a police officer asked if Harrell had any more drugs in his possession, he admitted to having some hid in his underwear. It was then confirmed that Harrell allegedly had several small baggies of heroin and several small baggies of meth in his possession, consistent with illegal drug sales.

Harrell was charged with two counts of the manufacturing and/or the sale and delivery of a schedule I drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a revoked license.

Peach, who lives in Smyrna, was charged with one count of the manufacturing and/or the sale and delivery of a schedule I drug and simple possession of a schedule three and six drug.
