A lot of questions circulate around the COVID Vaccine, but little has been discussed about expectant mothers. That said, more should be addressed about the subject because Rutherford County has proved to be a COVID-19 “hot spot” for pregnant mothers-to-be. Dr. Cornelia Graves told WGNS…

Dr. Graves has seen the detrimental impact COVID-19 has had on pregnant women in Middle Tennessee. She is an OBGYN who has a number of patients at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro and at Saint Thomas in Nashville.

Dr. Graves said that pregnant women should get the COVID Vaccine…

CDC Reports: 

"Based on what we know at this time, pregnant people are at an increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19 and death, compared to non-pregnant people. Additionally, pregnant people with COVID-19 might be at increased risk for other adverse outcomes, such as preterm birth (delivering the baby earlier than 37 weeks)."
